Naima White

Dr. Naima White has been a NC resident since 2000 and enjoys living on her rural farm. She has an array of farm animals including horses, donkeys,  chickens, llamas and turkeys.

She shares the home with 5 kitties, 3 dogs, her husband Nick and daughter Yasmin.

When she has time off she enjoys boating on Lake Lure, riding her horses, and collecting sea shells at the beach.

Dr. White attended Colorado State University and earned her BS in equine and animal science. 

She earned her DVM while studying at Ross University and Oklahoma State University. 

After graduating,  Dr. White served with USDA from 2000-2022 as a public health veterinarian, practicing regulatory food animal medicine. While rewarding, White longed to get back to her true passion which is companion animals of all shapes, ages and sizes.

She would love to meet your new puppies and kittens to provide a lifetime of care, but will also take utmost time and interest in your senior companions to ensure comfort and longevity for golden years to come.  She has years of poultry experience and would love to help with your chickens and flock health. 

White is currently seeing vaccine, sick and wellness appointments, dropoffs, and performing routine surgeries such as spays and neuters. She looks forward to serving all of your pets needs in the future.
